About
Why Agentic Swarm
Exploring how coordinated AI agents become Organizational Intelligence, through orchestration, governance, and human-AI collaboration.
Framework methodology and limitations
Purpose and responsibility
Agentic Swarm is an educational project founded by Ray Deo. It explores how humans, AI agents, tools, memory, governance, and learning coordinate as an organization. The founder perspective below explains the operational experiences and ideas behind the project; it is not a claim of scientific validation or a substitute for professional advice.
How to use the framework
Start with a real workflow and identify its human owner, intended outcome, permissions, and evidence of success. Use the eight Swarm Loop capabilities to examine gaps in coordination. The stage guides illustrate how a run can move through definition, planning, routing, execution, evaluation, governance, delivery, and learning. Examples are explanatory scenarios, not accounts of customer deployments.
Development approach and limitations
The site presents working definitions, capability explanations, examples, failure modes, an illustrative simulator, and a self-rated readiness assessment. These are ways to explore organizational design, not an industry standard or a peer-reviewed model. The assessment is not an independently validated measurement of maturity. The simulator demonstrates concepts rather than executing enterprise integrations. Personalized improvement reports are in early access and are not currently generated by the site.
Evidence and ongoing review
Distinguish a framework proposal from evidence about a particular deployment. Test assumptions against observed outcomes, document exceptions, and have accountable people review changes to policies and workflows. This page does not claim a formal external review process, research validation, or proven performance outcomes. Questions and corrections can be shared through the contact page.

Founder perspective
Coming from an institutional background in facilities management, I've spent years working inside complex operational environments shaped by budget constraints, limited resources, staff turnover, burnout, fragmented communication, and outdated legacy systems.
I've seen how much time and energy organizations lose to manual coordination, disconnected workflows, repetitive tasks, and systems that were never designed to adapt to the speed or complexity of modern work.
As intelligence systems began evolving from simple assistants into systems capable of reasoning, delegation, orchestration, and coordinated execution, I became increasingly interested in a bigger question:
"What happens when organizations themselves become AI-native?"
Around the same time, I became fascinated by how honey bee colonies operate. Individually, each bee performs a specialized role, but collectively the swarm functions as a highly adaptive and intelligent system through coordination, signaling, delegation, and shared purpose.
The term "Eck Swarm," which I encountered while reading The Technological Republic by Alexander C. Karp and Nicholas W. Zamiska, further reinforced this direction of thinking for me. The concept resonated deeply with the idea that future organizations may increasingly function through interconnected systems of humans, intelligent systems, infrastructure, and adaptive workflows operating together dynamically rather than through rigid traditional structures alone.
Agentic Swarm was created to explore that shift.
The goal is to make the emerging world of AI agents (and the Organizational Intelligence they create) more understandable, visual, and accessible, not just for developers, but for operators, businesses, educators, creators, and everyday people trying to understand where work and technology are heading.
Agentic Swarm explores the future of orchestration, human-AI collaboration, swarm systems, governance, memory, workflows, and the evolving relationship between people and intelligent systems.
I believe the next generation of organizations will not simply "use AI tools." They will be structured differently because of them.
And as that future unfolds, clarity, education, thoughtful design, and human-centered systems will matter more than ever.
